Miranda College of Nursing was established in the year 2002 under tha banner of Miranda Education Society. The College is Affiliated to RGUHS, Recognized by Govt of Karnataka and approved by Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.The Institution set new standards of excellence in Nursing Education and practice. The college aims at an educational programme that enhances the students knowledge, skill abilities and favourable attitudes to qualify as nursing professionals in todays highly competitive and health conscious society. The society has further expanded and includes under its banner the' the Miranda School of Nursing', offering 3.5 years diploma programme in general Nursing & Midwifery. Candidate Desiding to do Nursing are required to posses high motivation towards the Nursing profession, with special Qualities, a spirit of altruism, commitment and dedication to work. The Institution provides the students with theoretical instruction, integrated with clinical experience to meet the objec- tives of the profession
